Muallim Course in Brief

الحمد لله رب العلمین، والصلاة  والسلام علی نبیه الکریم، أمّا بعد:

Introduction to the Department:

The Muallim Course managed by “Moon Rays Trust”, P. O. Box: 128, Mpulungu, Zambia, in patronage of the trust’s Ameer/Chairman, Sheikh Shahid Motala (HafizahuAllah), is a two-year course. It was founded in January, 2014. It has been designed to prepare a perfect Muallim who can teach basic of Islamic Studies in Makaatib run by “Moon Rays Trust” in remote villages with zeal and passion.

The students, who can communicate in English language and are able to read the English text fluently and have zeal and passion to learn, know and understand the basic of Islam with its true messages as well as have passion to work in remote and rural area, are granted admission. They are imparted the basic knowledge of Islam.

The Syllabus of The First Year includes:

1.      Qaaidah/ The Holy Quraan (Nazirah),

2.      Tasheelul Hadeeth 1-7,

3.      Tasheelul Aqaaid 1-7,

4.      Seerah 1-7,

5.      Tasheelul Fiqh 1-7,

6.      Miftahul Arabyyah-1,

7.      Tajweed/Practice in Tarteel & Memorisation: Surah An-Naas- Az-Zuha, 

8.      English Language.

The Syllabus of The Second Year Includes:

1.      The Holy Quraan (Nazirah),

2.      Durusul Quraan 08-10,

3.      Tasheelul Hadeeth 08-10,

4.      Tasheelul Aqaaid 08-10,

5.      Tasheelut Taareekh 08-10,

6.      Tasheelul Fiqh 08-10,

7.      Miftahul Arabyyah-2,

8.      Tajweed/ Practice in Tarteel & Memorisation: Surah Al-Lail-Surah An-Nabaa,

9.      English Language,

Note:

A.    Apart from the syllabus, the students are also trained practically to lead Salaah, Janaazah (Funeral Prayer), delivering Khutbah & speeches and conducting marriage ceremony etc.

B.     The books mentioned as “Tasheel” in the syllabus is a Series on the basic knowledge of Islam prepared under “Jamiate Ulamaa”, South Africa.

Students:

Recently, we have a small group of students in the both 1^st year and 2^nd year. The students will be enrolled in a good number when the hostel/boarding will get ready. The enrolled students are taught and educated with the true knowledge of Deen in the light of the Glorious Quraan and Holy Hadeeth including good character, excellent behavior and equipped with high-quality manner. Al-Hamdulillah, these students are fully supported from lodging, food, books, uniforms, and healthcare facilities to the transport by the Trust. All these things are happening with full attention, under the supervision of honourabel Ameer of the trust: Sheikh Shahid Motala (Hafizahullah).

Teachers:

The Trust has provided 2 fulltime teachers and 2 part-time teachers who work under the direction of Maulana Khursheed Alam Dawood Qasmi. They include:

1.      Maulana Hussein Iddi Said:

• Bachelor Degree in Islamic Studies from Darul Uloom Nomaniyya, Durban, South Africa.
• Qiraat Sabah from Darul Uloom, Azadvel, South Africa.

2.      Shaikh Hasan Phiri:

• Learnt Islamic Studies from Mahadur Rashidul Islami, Chipata, Zambia.

3.      Maulana Yaseen Yahya Phiri:

• Bachelor Degree in Islamic Studies from Darul Uloom Nomanyyia, Durban, South Africa.

4.      Mr. Ramadan Mulenga:

• Diploma in English Language & Literature from Makeni Islamic College, Lusaka, Zambia.
